Brief
We were asked to create a new brand for a car recycling salvage yard. They were wanting a more unique brand than they currently had to help them stand out from their local competitors. They wanted something which could lend itself across many areas of their business and in many formats from signage to stationery.
Solution
we worked with Paul to fully understand the needs of his business and the local competition. We came up with many concepts around the car parts and recycling theme. We decided to keep the blue from their existing brand to help tie the two together for consistency and added green to reflect the ‘recycling’ element of the business. We also married together with a familiar recycling type symbol with a car to purvey to the customers what the business does in one glance. This resulted in a bright and modern design that fully reflects the nature of the business.
Impact
The brand has enabled them to grow the business by being more visible in their local area via signage & van graphics. They also hand out the business cards to all that attend the yard. We are also working with them to help them think of new ways to promote their business to their target audience.
